Umm I dont think you've played alot of csgo xdĪWPing is objectively stronger in GO. In 1.6 you had to be very on point with your utility usage, cs:go gives you training wheels.

So you can ez mode hold sites if you know where and when to moly+smoke. The AWP in cs:go is much easier to use for various reasons such as limited movement, weak flashes, poor cover, larger player models, etc.įlashes in csgo arent weak at all infact there are way more places you could flash than in 1.6 and flashes are alot more mobile and the physics of them are heavily improved, I played both 1.6 and csgo on stretched and theres not much of a differenceĬsgo has much stronger utility on average.

There are so many places where you could avoid smokes and I'd rather have more powerful smokes than undodgable flashes and useless smokes in 1.6 also I've never heard of anyone complaining about getting spammed through a moly lol I think visibility in csgo is about the same as in 1.6 The visibility was much better, you always knew where you were dying from versus cs:go where you get one-way smoke'd, spammed through mollys, shot by people hiding behind weird textures with blood decals behind them, etc (+visibility in cs:go used to be MUCH worse with old inferno and d2, but they improved it later). That's true I find myself spraying alot more in csgo than in 1.6 but bursting is basically useless in 1.6 The gunplay and movement emphasized more variations in technique versus cs:go where players slide spray in most engagements. Peekers advantage in 1.6 is just as "op" as it was in csgo esperanto considering that alot of players would scroll peek into someone,
